Our products are made for people, not pets. While many of our ingredients are naturally derived, we do not formulate or test our products for use on animals.

Pets can be much more sensitive to essential oils and other ingredients than humans, and reactions can vary widely depending on the animal, the product, and how it’s used.

Important considerations

• Some essential oils that are safe for humans may be irritating or harmful to pets.
• Animals groom themselves, which increases the risk of ingesting products applied to their fur or skin.
• Skin pH and sensitivity differ greatly between pets and people.

Our recommendation

We don’t recommend using our soaps or body care products directly on pets. For bathing or grooming animals, it’s best to use products specifically formulated for pet care.

Accidental contact

If a pet comes into brief contact with one of our products (for example, licking skin shortly after use), it’s usually not cause for alarm. If you have concerns or notice unusual behavior, consult a veterinarian.
